For more than 60 years the Texas Federal Surplus Property Program has been serving the State of Texas. The Texas Facilities Commission is the state agency that administers the Texas Federal Surplus Program through a cooperative agreement between the Texas Facilities Commission and General Services Administration. One of the primary responsibilities of the Texas Federal Surplus Program is to ensure all donees (participants) in the Texas Federal Surplus Program are in compliance with the program. Compliance also includes abiding by the Federal Rules and Policies of the program which include following the Office of Civil Rights rules and policies. Another important responsibility is to ensure a fair and balanced application process. Our program is following our state agency's Limited English Proficiency (LEP) standards, to help ensure accessibility to all.
